The Jacksonville Symphony has a collection of series, such as the Symphonic Night at the Movies or Symphony in 60 series, that take place throughout the year, each with their own unique attributes. One of my favorites is the Playsafe Pops Series, which is dedicated to tributes & usually accompanied by a guest vocalists, as in the case of the first show of 2024 within the series is ‘Women Rock! The Music of Carole King, Pat Benatar, Heart & More”! These women are just a few of the ones that forever transformed Rock and Roll & the world with their music. You’ll get to appreciate classic hits like "What’s Love Got to Do with It," "These Dreams," & "Hit Me with Your Best Shot," in a completely new way.
