The Jacksonville Symphony has a collection of series throughout the year with corresponding shows, and I’ve explained a few in the past, like the Symphonic Night at the Movies and the Playsafe Pops Series. On Friday the 19th, you can experience the first Coffee Series of the year with ‘A Journey from Bach to Beethoven’, which will take you on a ride through the ages from the music of Bach to Bethoven, and even Hyadn & Mozart along the way. As the name suggests, you’ll enjoy mixing and mingling with coffee and tea while enjoying the matinee show at 11am (which is approx 1 hour in lenght), and getting out right in time to walk over to one of our Downtown Jax restaurants in the area for lunch (like Bellwether or Indochine).
