"Dignity and Pride", a solo exhibition featuring new work by Marcus Jamal Williams, stands as a celebration of resilience, cultural heritage, and the enduring spirit that unites the Black community. Inspired by the symbol of solidarity developed in the 60's by black GI's in Vietnam called the Dap, this exhibition focuses on the hand to highlight various forms of post-colonial cultural expression among Black people. Exhibit is taking place in Downtown Jacksonville at the historic Ritz Theatre and Museum
