Via event organizer & stylist, Manisha Joshi — My daughter, Saloni Joshi, is the inspiration behind this Petite Fashion Show. Standing at 5 feet tall, she has been told to her beautiful face: “You’re too short. You’re not tall enough. You’re only 5 feet tall.” These defeating declarations not only crushed her spirit but diminished her love of fashion and modeling. I knew there was an opportunity to give petite individuals a runway. My goal is to give each of them a chance to shine in the spotlight, feel powerful, and look fabulous.
