10 artists will be opening exhibits at The Ritz Theatre and Museum. Each artist has been given a section of the museum to curate stories of their choosing. These stories include the black experience, African and Mexican immigration, ancestral guidance, depression, and self discovery. Artists will narrate through a range of mediums from murals, immersive experiences, textile installations, and canvas paintings. Join the Ritz during The Playground to celebrate the works of these artists. They will have artist interviews, live poetry, and light refreshments.
