I don’t think we take advantage of the access to art we have in the city, especially when places like MOCA are free on Saturday’s from 11a-5pm! Not to mention, every second Saturday of the month, MOCA has art classes for kids (age 6-10) in which they make connections between science, tech, engineering, & math. This month’s theme is “April Showers” and is $5 for members, $10 for nonmembers.
At the same time the kids are experimenting, they’re also hosting studio practice workshop with local artist, Aisling Millar-McDonald. This workshop will teach ceramics techniques & use texture as a form of visual language to explore a moment of time and memory. The workshop is $5 for members, $15 nonmembers!
