Jacksonville Armada FC is excited to announce its upcoming match in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup against the National Premier Soccer League’s Miami United FC will take place Thursday, March 23 at the University of North Florida’s Hodges Stadium. This match marks a special occasion for the Jacksonville Armada as it will be the first time the club has competed in the U.S. Open Cup since the 2018 season.
“We are delighted to play at Hodges Stadium,” said Armada President Nathan Walter. “We have an incredible relationship with the University of North Florida and we are thankful for their support and commitment to our club.” The Armada and UNF have enjoyed a strong partnership since the club’s inception in 2015. Hodges Stadium most recently hosted the boys in blue during the 2018 NPSL season.
