APPRECIATION : I find ways to celebrate Jacksonville on a daily basis, but having someone represent the city on a GLOBAL scale with pure talent calls for a completely different level of celebration. To those unaware, Amari Marshall (AmariMonster) is the dance co-captain on Beyonce’s Renaissance Tour & prominently featured in the Renaissance film. Outside of that, you may have seen her working alongside Janet Jackson, Missy Elliott, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, etc., & all of this to say, it’s not the celebrities that justify the love she’s getting, but the grace she carries in every interview & the immense pride that people have anytime she’s been mentioned in casual conversation over the years. Even after a 56-city tour, she’s using her downtime in Jax to continue to give back to the community, & for that I have nothing but admiration & respect.
