My forever favorite day of the month is the first Wednesday - which signifies a trip into downtown for art walk! I saw it every time, but if you’re new to the city (or visiting), this is an absolute must event to experience for a true representation of the community. Live music, art exhibits, pop-up shops, ton of food, and local vendors are all along the path of roaming between the three hubs; James Weldon Johnson Park, Vystar Breezeway (who has The Band Be Easy this month), & The Jessie. The one thing to not miss is a stop at The Jessie to see the new exhibit at the Corner Gallery - “Past, Present, Future” where you’ll find the artists who made it!
