“Friday Night Vibes" kicks off on August 12th at James Weldon Johnson Park & will be a bimonthly event miniseries leading up to JWJ's 2nd Annual Hip Hop Festival in 2023! No better day to start than on Hip Hop’s birthday (August 11, 1973).
Mr. Al Pete will be providing the soundtrack throughout the evening & will be going from decade to decade of hip hop evolution.
At 5:30 - Shelton Hull and Al Pete start with a one-on-one conversation on the theme, which will lead you into a key component of the art form with dance, provided to you by the insanely talented group community dancers : In the midst! As always, food trucks, vendors, + will be serving your needs throughout the evening!
