The newest artist-in-residency with Moving the Margins is one of the leading artists in the city, Erin Kendrick! She’s been on a roll with back-to-back incredible exhibitions for years now, and still finds a way to push herself creatively in how she presents her work. This multi-sensory installation at The Corner Gallery touches the topic of how black girls & women operate in joy while navigating different spaces. I can’t give away too much, but this should ABSOLUTELY be on your radar. DJ Iamenerji will be providing the soundtrack throughout the night, and the artist talk starts at 7:30pm (my suggestion is getting there by 6:30).
