Filmmakers from all over Jacksonville are coming back to compete to see who can make the best short film in only 48 hours. **ANY level of expertise (novice to expert) can enter their team to write, shoot and edit a short film over the weekend and compete against the rest of the teams for a chance to go to Filmapalooza 2023 in LA, and a grand prize to have the opportunity to screen it at the Cannes Film Festival 2023 Short Film Corner.
The kick-off celebration is on April 29th at The Jessie in Downtown - with a dj, dessert truck, food, and even if you’re not making a film, you get to see the excitement of the team leaders spinning the wheel to tell them which genre of film they will receive. Films will premiere on May 19,20,21!
