April 12-14, 2024 : Dion Dia & How Bazar present Big: Culture & Arts Festival in Downtown Gainesville!

Most people’s initial thought of Gainesville is student life / UF - but what happens when you stay in Gainesville after you’re finished? The co-founders of Dion Dia (Laila Fakhoury, Jahi Khalfani, Khary Khalfani) were set out to answer that question by staying after graduation, building community & a record label. Since 2018 they’ve put on over 200 events, including last year’s ‘The Big Sho’ music festival.

This year they invited artists from ALL over Florida to participate & pairing them with nationally touring acts like Madison McFerrin, Nick Hakim, Wahid, Kaelin Ellis, Chuck Strangers & They Hate Change.
