‘Jax Contemporary’ is the new triennial exhibition celebrating the broad vitality of artistic voices at this moment in Jax history. MOCA received nearly 500 applications and has selected 64 artists working in a variety of media.
A series of (free) artist talks from the exhibiting artists will take place starting April 2nd (during Downtown Jax Art Walk) at 7pm with Michael Rakim, Marsha Hatcher, and Kaz McCue.

July 5| 1 p.m. : Sarah Crooks, Gail Beveridge, and Jason John
August 6| 7 p.m. : Zarika Rabani, Stephen Heywood, and J. Adam McGalliard
September 3| 7 p.m. : d. lance vickery, Robert Adams, and Jenny K. Hager
October 1| 7 p.m. : Susanne Schuenke PH.D., Hillary Hogue, and Tanner Pletzke
November 5| 7 p.m. : Yna Cruz, Laura Colomb, and Holly Blanton
The grand opening celebration takes place on on April 10 at 8 p.m., which is when the artists will be present.
