Shaun Thurston, one of the original and most celebrated muralist in Jacksonville, is having a solo show after nearly a decade. His new body of work breaks open his new creative dreams, visiting subject matter that has remained with him along the journey. Making a personal statement to reject any reference other than his own imagination, this collection ignites a big change of wind for his future artistic direction. Elements such as human relics, minerals, animals, and fungi seem to come together to tell the story of humans: beings that are born and die with nature and by nature.
