In collaboration with the 48 Hour Film Project of Jacksonville, join us for the 2nd Annual 48 Hour Mural Festival, an engaging showcase of creativity and community at the Phoenix Arts & Innovation District in Jacksonville! Produced by artist, Jason Tetlak and Emily Moody, Chief Experience Officer at Phoenix Arts & Innovation District, this high-energy event challenges 10 talented muralists or teams to create a mural in just 48 hours.

Kickoff: Friday, September 27th, 6:00 p.m. @ The Jesse. Completion: Sunday, September 29th, 7:30 p.m. Mural Locations: Phoenix Arts & Innovation District, Jacksonville, FL

Starting at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, the selected muralists will receive specific elements that must be incorporated into their murals. From there, they will have 48 hours to bring their visions to life on the walls of the Phoenix Arts & Innovation District. The event will culminate on Sunday at 6:00 p.m. with a celebration of the completed works.

Each participating artist or team will receive a $500 stipend for their contribution. This festival is not just a display of artistic talent, but a testament to the power of collaboration and community spirit in the heart of Jacksonville.

The public is invited to come cheer on the artists as they complete their work over the weekend! Once completed the murals will be scored by Jacksonville culture leaders with awards being announced during the 48 Hour Film Awards presentation at WJCT Studios on Monday, October 21.
