This year, Operation New Hope celebrates our 25th anniversary, and to mark this, we envision an art exhibit that showcases work from justice-involved artists, including pieces created by our clients during art therapy workshops. “The Art of Hope” presented by Operation New Hope will showcase the art and writing of people impacted by the criminal justice system to give voice to people who have been excluded by incarceration and challenge our assumptions about the criminal justice system.

Presented at the UNF Lufrano Intercultural Gallery, Operation New Hope will exhibit works created by justice-involved artists to highlight how incarceration and art-making demand finding freedom in constraint and demonstrate that both require hope.
