The Jacksonville Symphony has a collection of series, such as the Symphonic Night at the Movies or Symphony in 60 series, that take place throughout the year, each with their own unique attributes. One of my favorites is the Playsafe Pops Series, which is dedicated to tributes & usually accompanied by a guest vocalists, as in the case of ‘The King, Queen & Prince of Rock & Roll’. The Symphony, with powerhouse guest vocalists and an epic guitarist, honor these legendary artists with songs like Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love” and “Don’t Be Cruel;” Queen’s “Somebody to Love” and “We Will Rock You;” and Prince’s “When Doves Cry,” “1999” and “Kiss.”
