Rochelle Underdue is a dance native here in Jacksonville with over 16 years of experience. Originally from VA, she trained in the dance community for 7 years before stepping out to teach under the guide of late mentor, Kavin Grant. Grant was also a Jacksonville native known for community at Florida Ballet (formally Boleros). Rochelle’s experience ranges from teaching internationally in Timisoara and Bucharest, Romania, and Puerto Rico performing for The BlackEscape Experience - directed by Jacksonville’s Amari Marshall - to within the US, traveling from California to New York. (Just a few)

Although, dance is life, Rochelle’s passion lies within the community. In the Midst is the dance platform that reflects her dance community experiences. The dance educator she is today comes from the joy she feels sharing her learnings.
