BABS'LAB presents the June Story Slam, an intimate evening of story sharing with host Barbara Colaciello. Please join us for a magical, fun night of TALES + MUSIC + ART + TREATS + LIBATIONS. STORY SLAMS offer an opportunity for people to share a true story, hone the craft of oral storytelling, and connect with community.

THEME: NO CLASS

WHAT'S A STORY SLAM?
A story slam is a live storytelling friendly competition similar to poetry slams. Storytellers have 5 to 7 minutes each to tell a TRUE personal story based on a THEME chosen for the event without the use of notes.

HOW IT WORKS

• Audience members can prepare a story and enter their name in a hat or decide to sit back and listen. 10 people's names are picked from the hat. At the end of the evening the audience votes for their favorite storyteller.
