The Bowl Championship Series was the first system created to annually match the top-ranked college football teams to crown a national champion - and Gator Bowl is one of the 43 played this year. There are events all throughout the week leading up to the game & always have a large attendance.

The 79th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will be played on Bill Gay Grounds at EverBank Stadium in Downtown Jax at 12:00 PM EST and will be televised nationally on ESPN. The 79th Annual TaxSlayer Gator Bowl will feature the Kentucky Wildcats from the SEC that will serve as the anchor team and will face the Clemson Tigers from the ACC
