This is such a GREAT way to get introduced to agricultural side of Jacksonville, and makes a perfect day-date activity (especially for my friends with little ones, since kids under 5 are free)

Slow Food First Coast is hosting a Farm Tour featuring 5 farms focused on the Northwest Jax area. You’ll visit “Down to Earth Farm”, “Overalls Farm”, “Eden Gardens Jax” and “Eartha's Farm and Market” (formerly White Harvest Farms) with a special farm lunch provided by The Farmery by Green Legacy Farms! From a 10 acre urban oasis, to the 1/4 acre farm, this tour showcases the remarkable mix of urban and rural farms in Northwest Jax. When you purchase your ticket, you’ll select one of the 4 variations of farm routes to help with traffic flow, & will have the options of choosing to opt in for the lunch stop ticket - where The Farmery Jax will be sourcing items from farms along the tour to include in your lunchbox
