It’s only right that the first dance show that the Florida Theatre hosts since re-opening, after months of renovations would be the kick-off of the Jacksonville Dance Theatre’s (JDT) 12th season; ‘Revive’! I’ve gushed about JDT countless times over the years, and if you’ve yet to see one of their performances, this is the perfect way to get introduced to what true excellence in artistry looks like in practice. “With a focus on local voices & a commitment to supporting women artists, JDT weaves together the threads of tradition & innovation to revive the rich cultural tapestry of modern dance & how it reflects, uplifts and inspires our community through the universal language of movement.”

The first 75 people to purchase a ticket to REVIVE will have special access to a pre-show reception with our featured artist, Eboné Amos in the beautiful Remedy Lounge on the second floor of the Florida Theatre starting at 7PM (complimentary glass of sparkling wine included)
