The 48-Hour Film Project takes place on different weekends in over 100 cities across the world. In each city local film teams - from beginners to pro's - compete to make a short film in 48 hours!
The Kickoff event event, where teams draw genres out of a hat and receive the required elements for their film, took place on Sep 29th, and now’s the time to present the finished films to the audience on 3 dates; Oct 16,17 & 18 (there will be a filmmaker Q&A after each screening.). The big pay-off happens on the “Best of Screening / Awards” on Oct 24th at WJCT! Winning Jacksonville film will go on to Lisbon, Portugal to compete at Filmapaloooza against the world and a chance to be screened at Cannes Film Festival in France.
The premiere screenings at the Jessie will be :
Group A: Monday, October 16th
Group B: Tuesday, October 17th
Group C: Wednesday, October 18th
