No better way to wrap up Jacksonville’s Pride Month than by celebrating it with the return of my favorite series, "Symphony in 60”! To those who haven’t attended before, the series consists of a 60-minute cocktail hour (starting at 5:30p) & 60-minutes of sonic bliss via the Jacksonville Symphony. For their Pride Month celebration, Music Director / Conductor Courtney Lewis (pictured), hand-selected the classical ‘hits’ for the evening & will kick us off with a toast during cocktail hour.
This series tends to sell out quickly & definitely brings out a younger-leaning audience, who tend to be reluctant about committing to a full evening of one of the Symphony’s longer shows. This is the perfect way to get re-acquainted to the brilliant musicians that we’re lucky enough to call our neighbors, while meeting like-minded people along the way. I’ll see you there!
