It’s been fascinating watching a completely new sector of the city discovering and coming out to Art Walk the past few months and adding new vibrancy to the evening. Art Walk takes places the first Wednesday of each month in the middle of downtown (James weldon Johnson park is a great place to start) and expands to the Vystar Breezeway and the Jessie duPont Center. Each of those main 3 hubs have live music, food & activities, but there are so many spots in between that walk that are activated, from Jump4Jax (jump rope team) by the Jessie to Lyricist Live (rap cypher) on Laura. The after parties continue at Underbelly and the rooftop of Estrella Cocina for HushHush silent disco!
