If you’re unfamiliar with the music legends, Duke Ellington and/or Billy Strayhorn - pause what you’re doing and just go look up one of their collabs (my favorite being Chelsea Bridge) or any of their performances with various other acts (ex. Duke x Ella Fitzgerald “It Don’t Mean a Thing”). Timeless jazz compositions over a 40 year period, and the Jacksonville Symphony is bringing the two legends to life with their renditions - joined by the vocals of tenor, Bernard Holcomb.
