Ebony Payne-English presents "Bits & Pieces"

The sold-out listening party for “Bits & Pieces” - the new album by Ebony Payne-English, in collaboration with Ulysses Owens Jr. - took place on 4/1/22 at The Walrus in Murray Hill, hosted by me (Cre8Jax)!

A truly incredible night of community engagement and fulfilling conversations that wouldn’t have been possible without our title sponsor - The Jessie Ball duPont Center!

DJ Geexella kept the music going throughout the entire evening and THE E. Mackey (owner of Blvck Spades) was in attendance grabbing video! Ebony and Ulysses played and discussed 5 songs from the new album, and Ebony performed 1 live. The album is a juxtaposition of Ebony’s poetry and a full jazz band via Ulysses (who produced the album). The full album is released on May 8th, but the single “Whole & Complete” is out now!
